ABOUT US

Joel Lazarus is an ordained minister, serving  Lord Jesus and His church for over 25 years in various offices including pastoral, worship ministry and outreach evangelism. His journey has been marked by a deep passion for leading people into a relationship with Christ, discipling the converts to mature in their faith leading congregation into Spirit led worship and equip the next generation to carry forward the mandate given by Christ. 

As the director of Joel Lazarus Ministries, he continues to serve faithfully in his calling,  equip believers  with strong emphasis on discipleship through Bible studies, reaching out to un-reached cities of Canada to conduct evangelistic meetings and share the transformative message of the Gospel. His ministry is built on a foundation of obedience to God’s calling, and he remains steadfast in his mission.

I consider my role as a husband and father one of my greatest blessings. I have been married for 15 years to my beloved wife, Bamini, and together we have built our home on a foundation of faith, love, and mutual respect. Every day, I strive to create a nurturing environment where our home is a sanctuary of encouragement and support. Our children, Zacheriel and Zimriyah, inspire me to lead by example and to instill in them the values of hard work, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to God. I truly believe that the heart of discipleship begins at home, and I am dedicated to guiding our family in faith, hope, and love.

Beyond my ministry, I am driven by entrepreneurial ventures that aim to make a lasting impact on our community. I proudly serve as one of the directors for Future Hope Academy Christian School, a Christ-centered institution dedicated to nurturing both academic and spiritual growth. I have also poured my heart into writing children’s books that bring biblical values to life in engaging and accessible ways, inviting young minds to embrace the beauty of God’s word. Additionally, through Versed Creation, I explore creative expressions in art, music, and storytelling to inspire and uplift others. Each of these endeavors is a step toward building a legacy of excellence, integrity, and unwavering faith.
